A broadcast of a TV programme once made a deep impression on Ronald Moerings. The broadcast focused on the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek in Amsterdam. This is the hospital and research institute specialising in cancer in the Netherlands. The decisive Ronald immediately made an appointment with the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek foundation to support them.
Together with some other entrepreneurs, he decided in 2014 to make an annual contribution to the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek so that there can be a tailor-made treatment for each, individual cancer patient. By convincing each participating entrepreneur to join another company every year, he wanted the group to grow. After Ronald’s unexpected death, the group decided to continue this important initiative, after which they also attached his name to this foundation.
